A number of years ago, I read in a dentist textbook that 50% of all dentists are actually incompetent. Not a confidence building thought. When I am choosing a dentist in a new area, I like to thoroughly research the dentist and get referrals from other dental professionals. Mark Porter, DDS and staff have met all my requirements. Plus they are very nice.
I went for my semi-annual check up and cleaning, and it went very well. In addition to a thorough cleaning and polishing, I also had bite wing X-rays updated, and was also screened for oral cancer. My gums recessions was also fully assessed. Dr. Porter’s Office really does top quality dental work, and I always feel cared for as a patient. I highly recommend Dr. Porter’s dental practice for anyone who is seeking a dentist.
Dr Porter and his team have provided me with great dental care. I can be a challenging patient with ongoing medical problems. They have been able to accommodate me. They are professional and genuinely caring. I would not go any where else.

I was a new patient today - had an exam and cleaning. Staff was very friendly and I liked that Dr. Porter took to time to get to know me and my history and answered my questions.
