Dr. Bates was my sister's Dr. for years. And he ignored her to the point where she went in the hospital for 55 days. He told there was nothing he could do and her getting weaker was her own fault for getting fat. When in reality her muscles, we're inflamed all over her body. Spent a week of that 55 days in the ICU intubated, and spent another four months in a nursing home facility for rehabilitation. Less than a month before my husband and I went abroad for a four-month trip, he checked in with Dr. Bates for general health examination. Afterwards, my husband was told he was very healthy except his blood sugar was a bit on boarder line. 4 months later, my husband passed away from extensive stage of lung cancer. it was a totally shock since twice a year my husband did his health check with MD.
