I lived in one of Mark B Weiss's properties in Lincoln Park from December 2020 until May 2023. The maintenance team was great and always responded to requests in a timely manner. My partner and I travel a lot for work and the team was very flexible with letting us sublet out the apartment.

Slumlord. Currently live in one of his buildings- heat is turned off weekly. Constantly wake up to freezing temperatures in a radiator controlled building. DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY The positive reviews for him are by his maintenance man - not a real tenant. He didn’t just resign a lease, Mark pays his bills and is his employer. The new one they love is our water is CONSTANTLY being turned off! They also illegally entered our neighbors apartment last week. Do not rent from here. Please please please do your research before moving into one of Mark’s buildings. I was so excited to move into a building with a lower cost of rent, but it is not worth it. Mark is completely arrogant. He speaks to his tenants like they are children. He expects to be thanked for "doing his job" and makes sure to tell everyone how long he spent on something or how much money it costed him. All of the one star reviews are true. Living here has been one headache after another.
slumlord. don't rent with them un less you like dealing with an unprofessional rude landlord. you've been warned. just read all of the other reviews. look elsewhere!!
