I tore a ligament in the bottom of my foot 16 years ago. I was scared of surgery more than anything. He took care of me and it healed without surgery. I haven't had a problem since. Now I'm having problems with my other foot. I figured I would leave a review while I was getting his #.
I phoned ahead to see how much it would be for me to see Dr. Superstein. The billing person said it would be $80 if my insurance paid 50%. This would include a visit, an xray & strapping for my foot. The bill ended up being $342.00 but they overbilled BCBS so it ended up being $229.00 instead which I pd in full bec. I hadn't met my Aff. Care Act deduct. yet. BCBS sd I had been charged by the foot so 1 visit PER foot, 1 xray per ft and 1 strapping per ft. Visit per foot is really out of line.
My wife had an appointment to see this doctor today. Before they would see her they wanted her to pay her copayment , which she was going to , and an extra 100.00. Just to see the doctor If they don't want to honor our insurance fine don't honor it. If what they are doing isn't illegal, it's unethical and I would NEVER recommend this person aka doctor to anyone
