I have been a patient of Dr. M. Schenkel for four years. Recently, however, he has been consistently at least 30 minutes late to appointments. When he arrives, he often seems unprepared. I have to remind him of my medical history. In addition, just a few minutes into the visit, the office manager, repeatedly knocks on the door, urging him to wrap up every five minutes so he can see the next patient.That said, the front desk staff are always nice and friendly, which makes checking in and interacting with the office pleasant.E... read more
Our family has seen Dr. Schenkel for more than 20 years. He is that rarity - fully up to date on the latest research, actually listens and spends time with us, genuinely interested in our health and well-being. We highly recommend him.
I changed my medical insurance and Dr Schenkel was not in network. That was upsetting. A few years later, I left the other medical group and I was able to get back to Dr. Schenkel. I was so relieved to be back with a Dr that I could trust and who listened to me!

Dr. Schenkel is very thorough and caring. He spends time with you to learn about your ailments. He has you follow up with appointments if you have any medical issues. He is very knowledgeable. Explains pros and cons of certain meds. Very attentive..
For an Attorney to tell you he is the Best, he must be! He has been my Doctor for more than 20 years an participated in saving my life. i've been going to Dr Schenkel for many years. He is a great listener and has always understands my issues. He's got an excellent bedside manner and I think that's ideal. Highly recommend him.
