Visit was informative, made me feel comfortable with planned procedure and dr Weight was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions satisfactorily.
He fused 2 vertebrae In 2020. It takes a while to get the stiffness out but I don’t have any more pain. He knows what he’s doing and he does it well. His staff is the best I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend.
11 years after a lumbar decompression lamanectomy/micro discectomy in a different state, the same disc fell apart completely and I needed a spine surgeon. Based on reviews I chose Dr. Weight and the Western Spine institute. Dr. Weights office got me imaged, an office visit and a surgery date right away for a fusion. Surgery went well and Mt. View Hospital was top notch. So far so good. I have also developed another spine issue and the level of care has not changed. My experience has been very positive and enjoyable.
Friendly staff and they don't leave you waiting forever
I had surgery in March for condition knows as neurogenic Claudication. basically the nerves are compressed tightly at the bottom of the spine. In my case this was causing my legs to go to sleep, particularly while walking on hard surfaces. i fell twice and decided that was enough. Dr. Weight is a neighbor and friend. No matter my problem he has checked reports and xrays he didn’t even order. He has done 2 neck surgeries on me. My first fusion was night and day difference. Someone who saw me during both, asked if I had actually had surgery yet, the second one, because I looked so much better than the first. I first went to see Dr. Weight 10 years ago for a back injury needing surgery. He did an awesome job and I had a smooth recovery! Now, 10 years later I have reinjured my back and Dr. Weight's office was quick to get me in and help me navigate treatment again. I'm now recovering from surgery and feel great! Dr Weight has a great bedside manner. He takes the time to listen and answer questions. He has a great office staff that is efficient and helpful, but not at the expense of the patient. No hesitation in recommending him!
Dr weight and his stafg were able to diagnose and treat me all within 3 days. Surgery went so well and i was out of pain immediately. I am so grateful for thei professionalism and ability to make me feel comfortable and in skilled hands. Dr Weight is easy to talk to and Erin is very knowledgeable. Dr Weight has done surgery on my husband, my father, treated my son, and has treated several of my close friends. I Feel confident in sending anyone to him.
Dr. Weight has done back surgery as well as neck surgery on me. Both were a great success.
