Dr. Slabaugh is a true professional and caring human being. He is an excellent ophthalmologist. In my case, he diagnosed a problem I had complained about to several other ophthalmologistss at the University of Michigan to no avail. He takes his time and explains things well also. Great doctor!
He takes time to listen to your complaint. He is confident in himself which makes me confident in his ability to remade the problem.
I had an extremely complicated glaucoma surgery in June 2016. The tube that had been put in for my glaucoma in my left eye was coming out and had created a hole in my eyeball. Dr. Slabaugh performed surgery and removed the tube, implemented protocol for the hole repair and inserted another tube in a different location which continues today to have my glaucoma under control.
