I've been a home-based Morgantown photographer in North Central West Virginia since 2015, and a professional photographer since my days as a U.S. Navy Photographer's Mate. Over the course of my career, I've been a newspaper photojournalist and magazine freelancer; photographed many jobs for colleges and universities; undertaken product and commercial jobs; documented more than 100 weddings and numerous events; and photographed family and senior portrait sessions.

We hired Mark for a 2-hour family photo session with 8 adults and 2 babies in Cheat Lake. Mark scoped out several locations and gave us some options that would work well. We had a great day with him - he made us feel very comfortable and we have some great memories (and photos!) with our growing family. Thank you Mark!
I have both worked with and hired Mark. He is a pleasure to work with and a great listener, but he is not afraid to speak up and give professional recommendations. His photographic eye is genius -- a true artist. He seems to see light and moments better than 99 percent of other photographers I've worked with. He is still and patient and only shoots "the" shot. I don't know how he does it. His technical skill in post-production is also superb. Highly recommend.
Mark has a great eye, much patience, is flexible and offers suggestions. He has taken photos of our daughter's wedding and our son's senior portraits. We'll be back for the big family photo soon!
