I had a prostate biopsy with Dr Perlmutter Dec 2025. 36 hrs later, I had severe shaking and chills with a fever of 103°. I called Dr Perlmutter’s office and was told to come to the office to leave a urine sample. There was a doctor in the office and patients in the waiting room. After leaving my sample and speaking with nurse, I was given a prescription for oral antibiotics and told that I should be fine. I can't be more complimentary of the Dr's. Everything they did for me was 5 star. The office is very difficult to work with. I will likely have to move to a different Urologist due to these office billing and communication issues, which is sad because the Dr's are amazing.
Highly arrogant and uncaring doctor. Despite being made aware of the urgency of my situation and need for the specialized care he supposedly offered, Dr. P had his medical assistant try to push me to another doctor in the practice who lacked any experience treating my condition, and relayed that I would then be allowed to see Dr. P three or months later! What kind of care or treatment of patients is that? I was left to suffer as a result!
I cannot recommend Dr. Perlmutter enough. He is very kind and understanding, taking time to explain everything along the way. Although he is a very busy doctor you never feel rushed. He has walked me through cancer treatments and 3 cyctoscopies. I am very selective about my doctors and Dr. Perlmutter is the top. I know this is going to be a journey and I look forward to his guidance.
