This physician came into the hospital to see my MIL who was anxiously awaiting her pathology results and was not prepared to see her. He knew nothing about her and even said I haven’t reviewed her chart yet. He told her probably lung cancer when her lung field had been cleared causing my MIL to have a panic attack! As an attending I expect better! Be prepared, review your patients charts before coming to see them, how can you discuss plan of care when you haven’t prepared????
The doctor is very professional and answers my questions and the staff are all friendly and helpful.
