Dr Marius Heersink is one of the most polite, kind young men I’ve ever met. He explained my cataract surgery very well and presented all the options in a fair and objective manner. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of the surgery as I was very nearsighted with a significant astigmatism and am now seeing 20/20.
It quite the feeling to leave a google review for a man that changed my life. As a middle age person dependent on glasses and contacts - Dr. Heersink gave me freedom that I haven't experienced in almost 3 decades. Their establishment runs like a well oiled machine. My mom,Ruth Simpson, moved from NY to our house in August 2024. She is 95 years old and has had macular since 80 years old. The eye doctor in NY said it would do any good to get new glasses or to have cataract surgery because it would not improve her vision. We got her in to Eye Center South to see if we could preserve what vision she had left and am so thankful we did. I had a great experience on my first visit. I will have cataract surgery on April 15 on my left eye and 29th on my right eye. He was very good at explaining what they will be doing. Great manners. I pray to our Father in Heaven for a successful surgery on both eyes.
