What stands out most to me about Maritime Rowing Club- and what truly differentiates it from other local programs- is that the coaches and staff genuinely care about the people behind the performance. I can speak to this from multiple perspectives; as an adult member active in the Masters program, as a mother of a teen in the youth program, and as a parent of a young adult who coaches there. I enjoy rowing there the coaches are kind and respectful and I enjoy learning to row. I would recommend maritime rowing club for anyone interested in the sport. :)
I dropped my oldest off at the "old" boathouse years ago and he came home wanting more. Since then, we had two other children go through the program. I can NOT think of another opportunity that could have provided more for my children. The sport is not for everyone, but if they love it, I cannot recommend anywhere more highly than Maritime Rowing. Learn to row is a great program for adults to learn to row. It’s a beautiful experience to be out on the water and learn a new sport. No experience necessary.
I have had nothing but a great experience with Maritime. I highly recommend it to anyone that is interested whether you are looking for a great kids program and or adult learn to row. Everyone is always very helpful, and inviting.
