Safety concerns were my biggest issue with this stay. We were traveling as women, and at check-in we were assigned a room on the top floor that was completely isolated from the other guest rooms. Immediately next to our room was a housekeeping/storage area. The doors were directly beside one another, and the storage-room door was thick enough that it raised concerns about whether anyone nearby would hear if something happened. Rooms are decent .Breakfast way over priced for what selection they offer. I had way better for free!! The shuttle service to the cruise port is disorganized .had a very difficult time getting picked up after the crews
thank you to Star! the supervisor at Maritime Hotel, for going above and beyond! The morning we were leaving for our flight, the shuttle hadn’t arrived yet, and Star anticipated the issue and ordered us an Uber because she didn’t want us to be late. After a very frustrating experience with another flight the night before, her thoughtfulness and quick action were a relief.
