I vetted carefully before I made an appointment with Dr Cook. I did not look at ratings on this site and I can glad I didn't! I am here to tell you that I am pretty particular about the way my needs are dealt with when seeking medical care! I feel that this is ok, since I am a retired health professional. (I don't think that the office knew that until during my appointment.) Staff was very kind, informative and not rushing me at all! Friendly service as they pick your pocket. Wanted allergy testing to determine what tree allergy I had. Discovered first visit ($434) was only to schedule testing. Testing took several hours, but instead of testing for tree pollens, they tested for dog & cat. When I asked allergist what those extra (unnecessary) tests would cost, she said, "no idea." Really?? This review is for Mercy Health’s Allergy Department on Rockton- unfortunately I wasn’t able to get as far as seeing the doctor despite a referral. I am incredibly disappointed with my brief experience with this office and their staff. On 3/25/25, I was left a 12 second voicemail from a nurse named Paige simply stating to give the office a call back regarding my referral.
