Mario's is a small neighborhood market with a grocery section, liquor, butcher section and produce. Our specialty, however, is serving up hot foods to include the best catfish in town! We also serve hotlinks, ribs, chicken, oxtails and a limited amount of chitterlings. Our side dishes include the most amazing homemade greens, fried okra, hushpuppies, sweet potato casserole, mac and cheese, potato wedges and a yummy peach cobbler for dessert!

The fish fillets are always marketed and promoted as Mario's WestSide Famous Fried Fish or Best Fried Fish, which is swahi.We do sale catfish steaks and you can also buy real catfish, we simply request that you order your catfish fillets from our meat department, and we will fry them fesh for you.

I like they have tables you can sit down and eat.
I don’t like the way people are being Fool about Mario’s market saying that they fillet is catfish which is not, I went there yesterday at 11:30 AM for lunch and I was almost there for 40 minutes because of the two servers was so slow“ maybe if that one girl wouldn’t talk so much things will move faster, I do say the catfish steaks was good
