Great spot for some Mexican eats. It's not fast food but it is fast service. Not fancy but it is restaurant style. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food without breaking the bank this is the spot.
I grew up in San Diego near La Mesa, and Mario’s is one of the best Mexican restaurants you can find in East County, we went there for breakfast today to meet my sister and her husband, we each shared a dish because the serving sizes are huge, and you can tell they take great pride in the food and how they prepare it for their customers
Expensive, service is awkward and food is mediocre. Nothing like it used to be many years ago.
They saved our butts last minute catering for a party of 50. We have been coming here for years and love the food and staff. Today we had a booked caterer for a birthday and they “forgot” so we called Juan and his crew and he had everything ready and delivered within an hour. Forever will praise them for this.
