Mario’s bakery is the best in town always go there for all my events and pastries and cakes great customer service and always go out of the way to get the job done even if it’s short notice
1) Cinnamon rolls: excellent. 2) Tres leches: mediocre. 3) Chocolate cupcake with white frosting: looks good, right? But it was terrible! Stale and ZERO flavor, I mean it was brown, but tasted like cardboard. Icing stale, not sure what it was made of oily no flavor, huge disappointment would never buy again.
I’ve been coming here with my family for years, and I can honestly say the donuts never disappoint, they’re some of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re a fan of rainbow cookies, this is an absolute must-try. The balance of flavors is incredible,the raspberry filling is perfectly rich and not too sweet, and the chocolate coating takes it to another level. Everything about it is just done right. I’m sorry to do this, but I have to be completely honest, I went there with my wife under the assumption this was a really good bakery. As it is I was highly disappointed. I purchased cookies that you would do better getting from BJs, the rainbow cookies, what are those supposed to be, and cannolis that again I can get anywhere else. I’m sorry but avoid this place they suck. Take the trip to the Bronx’s Little Italy, the vast majority of those bakeries are vastly better a thousand fold.
