This PA is the worst person I have come across in the medical profession. She has been so rude to my husband after his surgery a year ago. Was dismissive of his complaints of pain and leg weakness which resulted in him loosing the use of his legs after an MRI. They came back after about an hour. When that happened all the sudden it was urgent that he get to an emergency room. No thanks to her we went to a local hospital they did another MRI and found his spinal cord was cut off at T11-T12. This person should not be in healthcare. My mother-in-law recently lost her husband and after back surgery this PA said “sorry your husband died, i have a husband to help me”. She cut off our family rudely and insulted the whole family with how she spoke to us. She cut off my Mother-in-laws medication after surgery and told my brother in law she was not surprised he was single. Worst bed side manner of any provider i have ever seen. Seeing Dr. Askew has been like finding the needle in the haystack! He is excellent. He found a vein that was 80% blocked and put a stent in. My cardiologist didn’t find (or maybe didn’t look) for it! Although we will NOT be repeating such a procedure without (lots of) pain meds again! Except for that, Dr. Askew listens. He answers questions. He never makes me feel rushed. Dr. Asked knows well what he’s doing, I’ll give him that. He was a good doctor who knew how to pin point the source of the pain. His office staff on the other hand, was terrible. I understand scheduling can be out of their hands but they don’t work with you to try and figure something out. It’s either on their time or not at all. The worst of all was the office manager, Melissa. She was extremely rude and not willing to work with me to on when or how I could come in to see the doctor. Excellent Dr. Takes time to know my pain symptoms and the history of treatments so he could help me. I have had chronic moderate to severe daily back pain for over 50 plus years and tried many treatments for pain with no lasting results. Dr Askew has been the first Dr to give me lasting pain relief. I just had my surgical replacement experience with Dr Vitali. All 3 experiences were exceptional . He just finished my knee replacement revision surgery. My first knee replacement lasted almost 20 Years. Dr Vitali did the revision and I am up and about walking with a cane in 12 days. He comes with very high recommendation from me.
