She lied about seeing my child. She was not helpful in treatment and kept my child in the hospital longer than needed. She prescribed the wrong medication for my child's needs. We tried reaching her many times to follow up with the medication that was creating an issue for our child but she didn't return calls. I would do anything as not to have her in charge of my child. My recommendation, stay far away from her!!

I saw Dr. Lazar at Joe Dimaggio Children's when I was 17. She insisted that I had a problem with God and the Devil, not mental illness. She was absolutely useless in my time of crisis and insisted on forcing her religious beliefs on me effectively derailing my treatment. I would go to a priest if I needed spiritual guidance. Dr. Lazar has no place treating mental illness. See anyone else before her if you need help.

I was seen at the hospital and she stated that I was weird and very bizarre. I think I was seen in her eyes as a zoo animal.
