Several months ago I had a root.Canal done by Doctor marius. On my first visit, I was asked for my insurance card and I accidentally gave them my health care card as I don't frequently see doctors. My appointment for my second visit was set up six weeks later. Three days before that appointment, I received a call that I gave him the wrong insurance card. I was under the care of Dr. Marinescu for a root canal referred by my dentist. Upon the first visit he wanted to wait a little while because he said my gum was inflamed? I went home and within a couple days my cheek swelled up so severely i couldn’t even drink water. The pain was excruciating. I called him office and Sam told me to come as soon as possible. These folks are interested in the bottom line only and the bedside manner is completely lacking. Found a new Dr.
I certainly did not have a good experience in any way at this office. Procedure was painful which is unnecessary. I went to a different Dr. to have the Root Canal finished and it was a completely different experience. So glad I made that decision. Having an assistant during Root Canals makes the process so much more comfortable as well.
Have had two root canals with Marius over the years. When I mentioned his name to my dentist, the dentist said he would go to Marius if he needed one himself, best of the best! Office staff are pleasant, he's super friendly and puts you at ease. He's careful and thorough and fully conscious to minimize any pain during the procedure. After going to him it's hard for me to relate to people talking about a Root Canal being the worst experience of their life.
