If you’re going through cancer and you’re lucky enough to have Dr. Leitch as your surgeon don’t let go of her! From the very beginning, she was honest, straightforward, and always knew exactly where I was in my treatment. I never had to call her office to ask about appointments or test results. After three breast cancer surgeon interviews, I chose Dr Leitch. She was amazing! She spent an hour and a half with me and my husband. This was my second BC. The first surgeon did not get it all. Came back in the surgery sight. Dr. Leitch made sure to get it all this time and she did not MAKE me get a massectomy like the other surgeons were going to do. Reflecting on four years later and thankfully cancer-free, I realize that I never got a chance to express my gratitude for all the work you did (during the height of the pandemic) in 2020 when I was initially diagnosed with invasive breast cancer at another hospital.
