Made an appointment for my child to be tested for Lyme disease. Waited a week only to find out they indeed did NOT test her for Lyme and did a basic blood panel when I did not ask for this!!! Super upset my child had to have a blood draw from something I did not ask for! Then the whole AI is a joke!!! You went to school to get a medical degree, shouldn’t have to have AI assist in diagnosis and treatment options. If you went into the medical field for just the $$ shame on you! The health system is BROKEN!!! Do better!!!
Akron Children's hospital taking over this pediatric department has been the absolute worst experience and customer service i have EVER experienced. Being a registered nurse for 15 years, I think that speaks volumes. First of all, my daughter had to go to the ER last fall. I called the pediatric office to schedule a follow-up appointment. I was put on hold for 25 minutes, THREE separate times. Not being able to call the office and being routed to a call center in Akron has made it impossible to schedule appointments.
