I have Crohn’s disease, a disability, and am turned away from this hospital because I no called no showed over a year ago when I didn’t have insurance. Except I did call to cancel. Still ruled a no call no show. Now I have nowhere to go. Imagine a disabled person being turned away from a supposed “healthcare provider”. This is the same hospital that lost my mom after a surgery, told me it’s ok to not take my antipsychotic meds over the nurse hotline. This a business, they do not care so long as they make a buck. Felt as though they were just trying to run my bill up. Went to emergency room due to a seizure, was admitted wait to be examined by neurologist, after 16 hours finally got the exam. Multiple doctors and nurses told me all my tests came back perfectly fine and was told didn’t need to stay in hospital. It was a very nice hospital. Went to the ER but I honestly don't see where is better than Camden Clark in Parkersburg

I cut my finger and went to the emergency room for stitches. The nurses told me to come back to have stitches removed. They told me it was all one incident and that I would NOT BE CHARGED FOR THE RETURN VISIT!! Long story short … they charged me 3 times!!!!! My insurance company paid over $4000 for 3 stitches of which only one stitch held. I was charged $600+ for my 3 visits. This place was terrible I came in at 2:30 am due to cramping very badly while pregnant and I was very worried as this is my first pregnancy I sat there pretty much with nobody checking on me I didn’t leave till 9:39 am and nobody asked me if I was ok or gave me any water food or anything FOR HOURS also there where just groups of nurses just chilling at the front desk laughing and having a great time doing absolutely nothing while people like me or even people in more critical conditions needed to be seen or even checked on w... read more
