The BEST for bridal anywhere!!! – I don't know about the ladies who gave this place a bad review, but maybe they don't understand how this place works. First of all, you do need an appointment (any bridal place worth it's salt would want to give you their full and undivided attention!) to try on gowns. Denvers best kept secret – I have been shopping here for years this is Denver's best kept secret!!! If you haven't been there you are missing out by far. The customer service is outstanding!!! I walk in and they are so attentive to me I feel as if they are my personal shoppers, they know me and my style better than anyone. Avoid Mariel, Go to Blue – My first visit to the store was wonderful, and the salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me purchase several smaller items from the bridal section for my upcoming wedding. On my second visit, I was "greeted" by another salesperson and the owner. Both were snotty, ill-behaved, and even derogatory. I was quickly informed that appointments were required to even view bridal gowns and that assisting me would be impossible. Terrible customer service – The people here were so snooty I couldn't stand to return. Like another person reviewing this shop, I am a business person who walked in there in a suit and was totally ignored. When I inquired about a dress, I was told to make an appointment and then the woman speaking to me turned her back on me! Go anyplace else but here.
Astonishingly poor service – Astonishly poor service. I visited Mariel's during regular buisiness hours and was the only patron in the shop. I am a professional buisiness person and was not poorly dressed, nor was my conduct unappropriate in any way. I am still trying to account for the truly rude service I encountered there. I'm a Mariel kind of gal – I have been shopping at Mariel for over twenty years. I have bought several dresses for special occasions, a wedding dress and numerous amounts of clothes and shoes there. I have even had a dress specially made for myself. very hurt bride-to-be – My roomate went to mariel 3 times and came back hurt an upset after every visit. The only reason that she went back after her first Mariel experience was because she found the perfect wedding dress. The people working there were very disrespectful to her and told her to come back when she was more prepared to be looking for a dress. Due to their lack of customer service, she has decided to purchase the very same dress from another bridal shop.
Customer Service at its WORST – My best friend recently got engaged and 7 of us flew out to visit from Ohio to look at wedding gowns. On three seperate occasions, by various sales associates, we were told "they were unable to help" us at the moment and we should come back in three monthes when we were more prepared.
