if your child has ADD or ADHD i would recommend Dr Surpris....if you feel like you have no one else to turn i would recommend Dr Surpris..... she has help and still helps my son... i am very thankful to her Barbara is also wonderfully helpful and understanding

Was able to diagnose my problems very quickly and got on proper medications which returned me to a normal life. Very happy with the care and professionalism displayed by Dr. Surpris.

Dr. Surpris is very skilled at what she does. She recognizes the equal importance of medication and discussing with the patient behavioral technique treatments. She manages to the make the conversation feel at once both comfortable and productive. I am twenty-three years old and have been seeing her for about sixteen months now. Dr. Surpris has treated me for one year. Upon her first evaluation, she suggested a different medication than the one I was taking. Within a few short weeks and several adjustments, I was feeling better than I had in years. When I meet with Dr. Surpris I know she truly cares by the way she intently listens and offers constructive advice. Dr. Surpris has definitely helped me through a difficult period and I would recommend her to my closest friend, relative or anyone else who is in need of a superior doctor. J.H.

My daughter too has been diagnosed with ADHD and we have received the absolute best care! Dr. Surpris even brought a condition to our attention no one else took the time to diagnosis. My husband and I are very happy with the care she has given to our child. We never feel rushed out of the office, Dr. Surpris is very concerned and caring and meticulous in her diagnosis. Nothing but respect for her! Your child is in very capable hands with Dr. Surpris.

Dr. Surpris has been treating me for over one year and I consider her to be one of the greatest gifts I have been given. After my two children were born I suffered intensely with clinical depression which lasted for over 14 years. My son has multiple diagnoses and gets nothing but the best care from Dr. Surpris. She is always available to us when we need her and is in contact with his therapist, school and anyone else who needs to confer with her. If we need extra time at an appointment she is very happy to give it. Her fees are reasonable. She is WONDERFUL. I think CitySearch needs her own doctor; she's out of control.

I am not sure what the last reviewer was talking about. My son has been treated by Dr. Surpris for the last 10 years and I could not disagree more with this mother's comments. Dr. Surpris has always tried to accomodate us and has done wonders for our son. She has helped us to understand his symptoms and treatment.
