Some joint this is – The food is good but nothing makes up for the fact that the service (with exception to one waiter) and managers are greatly over rated. I recently was in there last week and witnessed our waiter being ripped to shreds by his manager on the floor, but done in a "nice" way. We had this young man before and he was the only reason that we came back. Tried the new breakfast special – Marie has a new $4.99 breakfast special. The waitress was very nice and brought me a warm blueberry muffin loaf with my coffee. That was really good. Sorry to say, the pancakes did not have much flavor and I did not finish them. My food took 30 minutes to prepare. That seemed quite a bit of time for 2 pancakes, 2 scrambled eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, and a side of hash browns, while the restaurant was empty with only 2 other tables occupied. Pleasantly surprised........... – A group of friends of mine got together today (Sunday Aug 28th,2011) at Marie's, for Brunch, I was expecting terrible service, instead, excellent service. Wonderful food... we did have to wait for the Mahi Mahi (place was packed) other then that, will come again. Visited during the hrs of 11:45am to 1pm Don't believe all the bad reviews.Check it out for yourself. ;0)

best marie callenders in the OC – This restaurant is not only obviously delicious, but very nice. The bar is so nice, too- very classy. All of the employees are very nice and helpful as well. Nothing but good things to say about this restaurant! Debbie D
