Edit again: she never spoke to him but did show for court. Don’t think she did anything. It was a mtr 1yr. Judge gave 6 months incarcerated. Had been there 4 months already, went back to gen pop and was released within an hour Edit to add: got a court date finally. Never heard from her about the court date and she didn’t show. Working with this lawyer is a nightmare. Was appointed on oct 28th. Saw client in jail one time and didn’t even have his case file yet. Many attempts via phone from family and the inmate and the tickets you place in jail to have your attorney contact you and she won’t respond. She answered my call once me advocating for him on november 11 and she was so unprofessional. All calls after go strait to voice mail. Have not been able to get a hold of this lady since July 2023. The office where she is supposedly located looks abandoned. It’s always closed. Can’t reach her on her business phone number. Left messages with no call backs. She’s failed to show up to my friend’s court dates 4 times since July 2023. Unfortunately she was court appointed and my friend is low income.
