Old Fashioned Place Mariani's is one of those old time places to take your Grandma to dinner. The servers are all very experienced and take care of you professionally. I like the saltimbocca and the home made soups are usually outstanding. They have dancing on Friday and Saturday night. Old standard songs are played. They have huge banquet and meeting facilities and the hotel is reasonably priced. Sunday brunch is also popular, but I have never tried it.
A piece of history This restaurant looks like a small family business from the outside, but inside it is quite the opposite. It's a fine dining establishment fit for a celebration or work function. A lot of the diners were guests of the inn that were stayig for the weekend. The food was served promptly and with a smile and it was at worst a little bland at times, but it really depends on what you order.
