This place was so welcoming! The food was amazing and the service couldn’t have been better. Usually don’t post reviews but this local family restaurant deserves it !!
Found this place online via random chance while trying to find options for a belated birthday dinner. Could not be happier. Everything was absolutely delicious. Their lumpias (basically a spring roll with beef, chicken or veggies) are out of this world good. Their Kahlua/pulled pork practically melts in your mouth. We also had the shrimp patty which was a bit like soft bread meets hushpuppies with shrimp and some seasoning in it and that, while not as great as the lumpia, was still good. Being from Guam, but living in Savannah, I wanted to drive the 2 hours to Jacksonville to try this place out. It was very good good. I do recommended that they make the Kelaguen a little less pika for those people who cannot hot pepper. I liked everything I did order and try and my favorite was the Shrimp Patties and Empanada. My family and I love coming here. The family who owns it is so friendly and the food is delicious, it is our favorite restaurant in all of Jacksonville.
RecommendedGreat People, Great Food! The best bang for Our Buck during Our 3 days in Jacksonville! I wish We would’ve learned about this place on Our first day in town....but they might have gotten tired of seeing Our faces!😂 We will definitely be back on Our next trip!
