Marian centre ignored online referral. Ignored email correspondence. Followed up with phonecall and told 'apologies i was on leave and my triage team are all quite new and inexperienced'. Try somewhere else where hopefully you will find some professionalism.

My experience at the Marian Centre was originally positive, I found most of the nurses to be lovely and caring. I got a lot out of the art therapy program,yoga and mindfulness programs. The cafeteria staff were lovely but the food was terrible. My psychiatrist Dr North is amazing and was very supportive. Unfortunately, my positive experience ended the moment there was an incident that significantly impacted me and added to my trauma. I would like to thank Marian Centre especially my Dr Oyewale and the all the nurses heaps for helping me battle all of my problems, it’s one of the best place in Perth I’ll recommend anyone who’s going under any mental hospital issues. God bless everyone there
The care I received at Hollywood Hospital was so poor that I was genuinely worried about going into the Marion Centre, but I needn’t have been, as it was worlds apart. The nurses there were absolutely incredible, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The psychiatrists regularly attended the hospital, at least 3 times a week, taking the time to actually speak with their patients and genuinely care about their needs, which makes such a difference.
