Very heavy-handed my hair feels like it’s been stitched on my scalp. Braids so tight that I have bumps and red spots where the hair has been pulled too tight. It’s been a week to the day and my scalp and hair are traumatized. The service was great. The lady’s were very nice and friendly. They braided fast. I was surprised by how well and quickly I was done. Would I recommend they yes. I would say come here. But I’m not use to getting my hair braided stitched to my scalp with no baby hairs out.
The person I scheduled my appointment with was very nice even the women who greeted me when I arrived. There was two ppl who did my hair but one of the was extremely upset after she was informed of the style & the price. After taking my hair down a lil over a month I realized my hair was completely damaged which was not the case when I entered that shop. This used to be my go to spot but I took my son to get his natural hair braided and it looked terrible. Parts not clean braids frizzy. Not the Mariam's I remember supporting for years.
