The medical assistant is very rude. They requested my blood work to be done because I haven't had it done in the last 3 months. Then proceeded to tell me that Dr.MariaThomas John only accept patients that are new to rheumatology. I honestly would rate this with no stars but that is not a option. Don’t waste your time. If they ask for blood results and they are normal, 9/10 times they will reject your referral.
My doctor sent several referrals to this doctor on my behalf. Weeks went by and they never contacted me. I left several messages and nobody called me back. When I finally got an answer, the person who answered the phone was very rude. She told me they had several referrals for me. She then said that if the doctor accepted my referral, they would call me. Never heard anything back from this office. This was a month long process of wasted time.
I’m SO happy with Dr Thomas-John. I was hesitant to see her because I had heard negative comments but they were wrong from my perspective. My first visit she took a long time going through my records with me and got to know all my health issues. She diagnosed me with something I had always suspected I had but several other physicians had just ignored it. I feel so much confidence and trust I can’t describe it. I definitely would recommend her!
I honestly cannot relate to all the negative reviews posted. Long story short, I was battling "something" for over 4 months. Three trips to my doctor, two trips to a cardiologist, and two trips to a neurologist, plus prescriptions, did not bring change or relief.
