My parents, who were paying for my therapy, decided to terminate the sessions, as they were becoming increasingly expensive. Dr Lymberis would not accept this and attempted to extract money from them by insisting that any inheritance that I might receive should be paid now, for my therapy! NOT WELCOMING, ATTITUDE, DO NOT GO TO HER! – For someone who is reaching out, practically begging for help, Maria T Lymberis is NOT welcoming. Her attitude is unprofessional and she is not helpful at all. I'm dealing with severe depression and close to suicide and I never even started a session and I already made my decision to not meet with her. She's been practicing since 1988 and in 20122 it just shows that she is a careless psychiatrist and I 100% would not recommend her. I plan to stay clear from her completely.
