Went today for an appointment. Receptionist is just something else! After sitting for 40 minutes she finally realizes I'm their. Proceeds to tell me I did not tell her I was there hello it's her job to check me In. Over 3 months waiting to get seen to be canceled for the Receptionist not doing her job!

Sadly, I did not experience quality care this last time I was seen. I guess if you are old and overweight she immediately dismisses you with it being your problem. She went on to say, look at you!! you have no neck and you should NOT be indulging in anything that is sweet. OMG!! I told her it has been difficult with my incontinence and Osteoarthritis to move. Allowing patients to drive 2+ hours for an appointment that was scheduled and verified only to turn them away and claim the patient has no appointment is disgusting. There’s zero reason for a Dr office to miss or not note down appointments when you have entire systems and dedicate entire positions to people in order to schedule and verify these things. There is literally no excuse for a patient who is in pain and in your office (clearly in need of medical care) to be turned away, except incompetence. Do better.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Pizarro for almost 16 years. She’s the best! I’ve always had the best care with her and her staff. I highly recommend her.
