As mentioned in the other reviews, she shows up very late and doesn’t bother to even call ahead which shows a complete disregard for other people’s time. Her demeanor is incredibly abrasive, argumentative and condescending once she finally does show up. Her attitude enters the room before she does. She makes it clear that she is there to create a problem. I usually do not leave reviews, but this time I had to do it. I spoke to Maria only one time. Provided Maria some of the information of the appraisal needed which was to find out the value of the property, not from a real estate. She seem very knowledgeable and informed me that she can do this appraisal in a week. I was going to get back to confirm. After 15 to 20 minutes I got back to her and never ever answer the call. We have been using Hopkins Appraisals for a number of years and rely on her. She is thorough, extremely knowledgeable, accurate with values, plus she deals with commonsense and integrity. Her reports are solid!
Completely unprofessional. This self-claimed "mother hen" failed to inform me of multiple showings, then proceeded to lie...claiming she "forgot" Please just consider looking elsewhere, no need to waste your time with this one.
The comments of unprofessionalism are true. She was late to both appointments and the second I only received an email after I called. Like reviews below she used her mother being sick excuse. Lastly she’s not very good at her job and I knew immediately from my first interaction that I should continue my strategy of applying with two different banks.
