Dr. Maria is by far the best pediatrician I’ve ever brought my children to. My first interaction with her was when my younger son was born. She picked him up like Simba from the lion king and showed him around the office to every other employee saying “look how cute this baby boy is!” She has always made us feel special, like she really cares about us. Dr. Gatoulis is everything you want in a pediatrician - thorough, knowledgeable, warm, empathetic, and an excellent listener. She explains things clearly, is a strong advocate for her patients, and has an outstanding bedside manner with both children and parents. She has gone above and beyond for my two children, and she always takes the time to understand their needs and patiently answer my questions. I never feel rushed. I'm thankful that we found Dr. Gatoulis.
Office staff is rude. Doctors are knowledgeable, but unreachable when there is a billing issue/question. Then, you will find the vast army of Summit Health Billing unleashed upon you, and rude and uncourteous front-desk old ladies (one in this case) will stand firm like a stone wall, but the doctor won't respond. So, we are moving on from Summit Health.
I’ve been searching for a new pediatrician for my kids and Dr. Gatoulis was amazing. She performed such a thorough physical, really took her time, which is hard to find these days. She was so kind with the way she spoke to my kids — they loved her and she made them feel so comfortable. The nurses were really sweet too. We live 30 minutes away from the office and it’s absolutely worth the drive.
She’s an amazing doctor—very gentle, a great listener, and truly empathetic. She asked all the right questions and was thorough with every aspect of my child annual checkup.
