Dr Smith is the best. I think I have been with her for 20 years. She actually spends time talking with you. A few years ago I had a surgery with my Ortho Dr. He could not be reached but Dr Smith was able to help me when complications arose. I have a complicated medical history and Dr Smith is always right on top of it and anticipating possible concerns. As a medical person myself, I appreciate her thoroughness. horrible bedside manner. Did not treat or find an issue. Put me on a bunch of meds and sent me home.
Takes very special care and time to listen to you.
Problem being, no discussion with health care plan, you'll be given orders on what is expected as the patient, if you as the patient would like to discuss with Dr. O'Carroll, tough that won't happen, you'll be excused from practice instead. If you go with a cold once or twice a year, or would like flu shot, you'll be fine here. If you have plans to be an active participant, find someone else.
She is a very thorough doctor who genuinely cares for her patients and is sure to answer any questions you may have.

Dr. George has been my doctor for multiple years. He’s always caring, compassionate, and will really listen. I had an insurance change that made me change to a horrible doctor, but thankfully after a horrific experience, I was able to go back to Dr. George. It’s so nice to know you’re not just a number, and that your doctor truly cares.
I was in/out of the hospital for months which caused me to cancel or postpone several appointments. The doctor was receiving all of the files from the hospital and was aware I almost died. Yet, when I had another very important appointment with her, I received a call from a nurse that she dropped me as a patient for not seeing her in so long. I was literally in the hospital, septic, with a PICC line and she still dropped me. And made a poor nurse tell me.
