Great listener, very knowledgeable, great bedside manner, personable, patient and understanding. Each time I have seen her she has given me right diagnosis and treatment.
I would rate them zero stars if I could. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I showed up for my appointment on time and there was nobody at the front desk. Another gentleman was also waiting. Some staff walked by but didn't even acknowledge people waiting for their appointments. We waited 20 minutes and then without apology or greeting, the person who appeared at the desk tried to tell me that I was not on time and that I couldn't be seen. This was my first encounter with Dr. Summers and it was awful. I have several health concerns and scheduled a visit to have a consultation regarding those concerns. I don't know of anyone that goes to the doctor with their medical records in hand, there are procedures to access that, I was repeatedly told that she needed to validate the diagnosis I have with my records and that she could do nothing about it because she isn't a specialist. Great experience-she listened carefully and conversed empathetically as well as intelligently. Lab tests were on-site and quick too.
I recently switched to Dr.Summers as my PCP. In my opinion, she is excellent. Dr.Summers is thorough, she takes her time with me, I never feel rushed. As a result of this, however, she does often “run behind,” so I do always try and make my appointment with her her 1st appointment of the day.
