I went to see Shana Margolis for hypermobility in my joints and she laughed at me and compared it to her cracking her back and her back popping. It's a false equivalence to compare my issues to her cracking her back and then she laughed at me to top it off. Very unprofessional. Stay clear away.
I miss be her so much after she left Shirley Ryan… I felt listened to and I really felt like she cared and understood the assignment. I felt very comfortable in her care. She took her time and did her best to make sure I understood my care plan. We worked together very well because of our mutual respect for eachother. As Dr and patient. I wish her much success in her future endeavors we need more Dr’s like Dr Margolis who I feel understand the nature of pain and how to treat it. She’s an excellent doctor she’s very caring and she knows what she’s talking about!
Dr. Margolis is very thorough and attentive. She listens to her patients and always gives excellent care.
Waited more than 1 hour past my appointment time to see Dr. Margolis. Finally a nurse noticed realized I had been forgotten and went after Dr Margolis. I guess Dr was too busy or no where to be found because I ended up being seen by a resident. Dr margolis showed up for 5 minutes at the end of my consultation with the resident. She was dismissive and super rushed! I called Shirley Ryan to share my awful experience.
