I lived in this property 20 years ago, and it was one of the most wonderful times of my life. The rent was very affordable, the owners and managers were kind and generous, and the location was beyond perfect. It was safe and cheap, and they rented me a parking place in back of the building for $75 per month. 🙂 There was laundry in the basement and I even had a dishwasher -- a luxury! -- in my tiny middle unit (1-bedroom) on the 2nd floor. I lived at 2330 N. Clark St. for a year and although property manager Mary was very nice, responsive and courteous I would not recommend living at this property or rent from the management company. Location itself is great however the building (vintage) is very old and outdated, with hardwood floors that need replaced, older windows and minimal if any sound insulation. I had big issues with noisy neighbor who was making loud noises way past midnight, at times as late as 3am on week days. This was repetitive occurrence and af... read more
