The soups are amazing! I like to try new dishes, at her place, as well... never a disappointment! I love how Peggy "aims to please" her customers. After returning so many times, you get to know her & love her. So glad to have this charming restaurant in White Bear Lake!
Stopped by in November for lunch with friends. Had some delicious soup, a salmon salad and a special chicken sandwich. Hard to say which one I liked best.
We were very disappointed we were told it was bring your own bottle and we didn't because we don't drink and didn't realize there was no other offerings besides warm tapwater . We had to ask for steak knives to go with our steaks . Ask for salt-and-pepper which came when we were finished with our meal . Definitely not somewhere we will go to again . The server was also very unfriendly and very unhelpful .

Delicious entries! We had the steak, lamb chops, and salmon. All three cooked to perfection. The dessert, lavender honey creme brûlée, was amazing. Definitely a new gem of the area.
We had the limousin beef and the quail. Both were excellent. Bread pudding was so-so. Would be better with hard sauce on it like my mom prepared it. Better signage would be helpful as this was our first time visiting and it was hard to find the restaurant. We will be back!

Thanks for your comments!:) it wasn't bread pudding. It was Clafoutis. Which is an almond flour batter with cherries... Sorry it wasn't your fave. GF was the aim there.:(
