Sooooo disappointed, if you like nightlife this place is noooot the place. My husband and I like the nightlife and when we did research Margaritaville mentioned live music, a swim up bar and access to the beach. What not to love right, wrong! The pool bar closed at 6pm, the dj left at 6 (Saturday night btw) and the hotel rented out the resort to a private event so no live music. We ended up walking down the road to Isla Grand resort, so sad we did not stay there instead.
They have an ongoing humidity problem with the air conditioning that turns the room into a swamp. Clothing, bed linens, laptop, electronics all damp. Even clothes in our bags were damp. Looking at reviews, they’ve had these problems for years. They moved us to another room but no apology much less any attempt to compensate for the inconvenience. I developed a cough and rhinitis from staying in the room.
First time it's aswome
First time visiting and the pool was one of the main reasons. The pool itself was great. The poolside bar is decent but the wait time just to get a drink can get old and it wasn’t even really busy. Another turn off is that the music is SO damn loud. I was curious if it was just me so I asked around a little bit everyone was in agreement, “too damn loud!” lol. We’re not at a concert, just trying to chill by the pool and be able to have conversation. Probably won’t come back
I came to this hotel with my husband for a business trip. The hotel is wonderfully placed near the beach which means you have quick access to catch the sunrise and sunsets! The hotel lobby automatically greets you with its beauty-- large windows with natural lighting, many seating areas, it's super clean, and has wonderful scent of coco!
