I have been going to HighLakes Health Care since 2004. They used to be a great facility. But since Praxis Health took over, they have severely gone downhill. I do not recommend them or any of their new doctors to anyone. They released my doctor for unknown reasons, with no notice. I was then told the new doctor (who just graduated 6 months ago) did not agree with my RX prescriptions that had been put into place by the Wonderful Dr. Stephan Mann. Dr. Elgeziry.... a fresh doctor out of school. Supposedly to replace Dr. Mann and Dr. Blackmon~ who were seasoned doctors with over 40 years experience. He refuses to even see me to look over my medications. He is leaving me with no medications. Medications that I have been on for over 21 years. Trying to get through via phone just expect to be on hold in excess of 10 minutes. When my primary care physician at High Lakes moved out of state I was assigned to a new provider who insisted I pay out of pocket for a “getting to know you visit.” (Insurance companies do not cover these kind of visits.)
