Horrible bed side manor. I had the unfortunate experience having Dr Fruhbauer step in for my GP that was out due to a family death. She is judgemental and condescending. When she started questioning my medication, sent in the script with her own views....I was so thankful it was a one and done appointment. Unfortunately, I was charged for this appointment. I have been a patient at NCH/Northshore/Endeavor for over 40 years. I will never see this so called "physician" ever again.
I really like Dr. Fruhbauer's warmth and care for my son who is struggling with his medical issues. She spent the time talking to him and explain different aspects of self-care without rushing through it. I felt that she really cares and respects her patients and absolutely love it!
I was very disappointed with Dr. Fruhbauer and her approach. I was unable to be seen at my first appointment because I arrived 12 minutes late. I had mistakenly gone to the other primary office first, but that office called ahead to notify them that I was on my way. When I arrived, I was told I would need to reschedule and that I would be charged for a cancellation — even though I did not cancel; I was there. I’ve been seeing Dr. Fruhbauer for almost 10 years now. She is a very compassionate provider and genuinely cares for her patients’ wellbeing. I trust in her knowledge, skills and expertise! She is very thorough and explains everything in a way that can be easily understood. Thank you Dr. Fruhbauer!
I had previously seen Dr. Fruhbauer when she was at AMG and I loved her. Was so sad when she moved practices. I was supper happy to see that my insurance was in network with her again! During my physical she made me feel heard. She took her time and listened to my issues and offered very insightful information. She is a very intelligent doctor and I can stress enough how amazing she is! Truly one of the best primary care doctors out there!!
