This google review is a big “thank you” for Dr. Margaret Carter at Camino Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic in San Jose. After a few very unsuccessful tries with Urgent Care as well as a visit with an internist, I very much needed an immediate appointment with an ENT, but it was very difficult getting one on such short notice. Dr Carter has a wonderful bedside manner. She explains things thoroughly. She always makes sure she answers all of my questions and I never feel like she's rushing me. She's performed a tonsillectomy and septoplasty on me and I've been satisfied with the results. I'm breathing a lot better now thanks to he One drawback is that sometimes it takes a while for her to respond to my non emergency medical questions. Despite this I would still recommend her. I am happy to have her as my ENT.
Woke up with hearing loss. Saw my primary, she referred me to ENT, they were able to do a hearing test which was so impressive. Well the best part is Dr. Carter came in and made time to see me. She was professional, very knowledgeable and explained in detail my treatment options. I am excited to continue care with her. We are hopeful my hearing will return. She is a fantastic Doctor and a lovely person.
Dr. Carter is amazing. I saw her for sudden sensorineural hearing loss - I basically woke up one morning and was deaf in my left ear, which was more than a little concerning. Dr. Carter is easy to talk to, was thorough in her exam and took the time to listen to me, explain what was going on and discuss short and long term treatment options. Fortunately my hearing has returned to where it was before the sshl, and now I know what to do in the likely event it returns. I highly recommend Dr. Carter.
