I saw Dr Marcus a number of years ago during a very vulnerable time in my life. She started falling asleep in our session. The first time it happened I just thought maybe she was having a rough day - it happened again in our next session and I discontinued therapy. I was too vulnerable at the time to say anything but it was incredibly disheartening and a painful experience on top of what I was already dealing with.
I saw Dr Marcus years ago, and trusted her then. This is a huge statement given my state of mind when I began the journey with her. Fast forward almost 20 years and I needed an unbiased opinion to help me think through a situation.
