LOVE LOVE LOVE this clinic! Searched around so many animal hospitals since moving to Texas. Animal Med & Surgical of Frisco is where we will stay, dont mind the treck for a kind staff and doctors who take the time to really learn and know your pet! My American Staffie Mix spent his first 5 years being restrained and tackled and held down for his annuals. Dr Marcum has been our vet since we moved to Frisco in 1992 before he had an established practice, t that time he had a mobile unit. One time we were unable to go to the mobile clinic to get our dogs and cats annual vaccinations. Dr Marcum came to the house to check on them and give them their shots. When he started his practice on Preston Road, he would let us dived up our payments because it very expensive to have three dogs and a cat checked out annually. When our 14 year old dog had a malignant tumor, he was honest with ... read more

We moved to Frisco about 3 years ago from New York and started using Dr. Marcum consistently. I used him on an emergency basis back in 2003 when here on vacation with my chihuahua. My brother and sister-in-law have used Marcum since he was in the old house on Preston (1997). I think Dr. Marcum is extremely knowledgeable and I have received great care for my animals from Dr. Marcum - not so impressed with Dr. Sheaffer. By the way, I am also a nurse. HOWEVER, I rated him as average because he has priced himself out of what I a... read more

I will never set foot in that place again. I had been taking my dogs there for a couple of years, and then when something serious happened I finally saw who I was dealing with. My dog needed surgery...at least that is what I was told. After TWO surgeries my dog ended up dying in pain. I was in and out of there with her for 2 weeks. Each time I went in the front office people pushed vacinations on me...my dog is dying and these people are pimping vacinations! And Im not going to go into details because it would take forever t... read more
