My experience is, that I got to see Dr. Marcos Lamas, MD just the first visit and only the first vist, thereafter I've only been allowed to see, Jason Whitten, ARNP, assistant to Dr. Marcos L. I've had two checkups since I've got to meet, Jason Whitten, and my last time of a checkup my blood results showed my TSH or thyroid levels over 4,000 points, which should've been in the hundreds, after, Jason, adjusted my Synthroid medication up higher to 175mcg's, which should've been a way lower dosage. My former Endocrinologist left UF and I was set up to see Dr. Lamas. I had one visit with him and he was telling me I had medical diagnoses that I was never told by 3 prior Endocrinologist over the past 30 years, that I saw before him. 2 doctors were in other states. He then wanted to set me up with numerous doctors and refused to prescribe me a medication that all the other Endocrinologist had filled in the past. I believe it was his way of holding me hostage. Dr. Lamas is the best doctor I've ever had. He is very thorough and explains everything so you can understand it. He is kind and really shows how much he cares about the patient. I highly recommend him.
Dr Lamas is one of the most sensitive and thorough and thoughtful physician ever! He’s very good on response to messages and is very candid and frank and is just the best Dr anyone could have..
