Denied a mammogram, even when instructed by a former radiologist to have one. Filed a complaint with UNC. Dr. Koomen did not even speak with me once, ask questions about my history, never even came in the room. I am under 40, but I do have cause and documentation to have one done. Do they think women under 40 don't get breast cancer? Of course they know. I can't help but think this comes down to them looking for reasons to deny care, a hospital run by insurance companies that does not act in the best care of patients. Please... read more
