il cibo era meraviglioso. grande atmosfera. amare il servizio.
Hands down the best authentic Italian restaurant I have ever been to. Although, I have never really been to Italy just yet.. I do come from a italian background and this is what I imagine the cuisine tastes' like. Not only did the food taste phenomenal, the hospitality was spot on and the feeling was as though we were actually inside the chefs very own home.
First and foremost, I'm Italian, and I'm always dismissive of Italian restaurants in the US. Well, I have to say that Ristorante Marcellino is now ranked #1 in my list of favorite places all up. The food (straccetti al tartufo, ravioli, gnocchi), the wine (red and white recommended by marcellino), the dessert (tartufo al cioccolato, tiramisu, ricotta cheese cake), the grappa, the limoncello and the passito, everything was just perfect and beyond my expectations. Marcellino, sei un genio culinario, grazie per l'ospitalità!
